Content Specialist Job Summary:
Sparks Group has partnered with a software company to find a Content Specialist. This is a fully remote opportunity, but you’ll be required to work east coast hours. We’re looking for a Content Specialist who’s an adept business communicator, writer, and designer. If you can weave compelling stories with your flawless writing, research, and graphic design, and want to own your own deliverables and make an immediate impact, this is the role for you.
Content Specialist Responsibilities:
- Writing and approving written content (e.g., blogs, white papers).
- Doing research on individuals and companies that fit the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for Account-Based Marketing (ABM), with the goal being to get discovery meetings for our sales team.
- Writing and approving social media (primarily LinkedIn) graphics and posts.
- Preparing Google Slides or PowerPoint decks for sales and customer meetings, as well as global events.
- Creating graphics to support sales and marketing initiatives, to include web, social, and global events such as kickoff, community regional meet-ups, and conferences.
- Helping with creating written content that will improve our Search-Engine Optimization (SEO).
- Assisting with website updates to content and product marketing.
- Creating and reviewing video content that showcases innovation and customer stories.
- Pulling analytics and reports on various marketing activities such as event attendance, registrations, and email campaigns.
- Measuring the impact of marketing activities on revenue.
Content Specialist Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience working for a SaaS company in a similar marketing, design, and/or content role is required.
- 2+ years of graphic design experience is required. Portfolio should be submitted with application.
- Must be a good writer/editor.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud is required.
- Should be highly proficient at creating presentations in Google Slides and PowerPoint.
- Ability to create and manage website content is required. Experience with Webflow is preferred, but WordPress would be acceptable.
- Experience writing concise and compelling content (blogs, emails, social media, etc.).
- Marketing automation experience is necessarily, HubSpot preferred.
- Experience with project management and event planning and organization is preferred.
- Ability to successfully work in a remote environment.
- Experience engaging in internal and external communication via Email, Slack, Video Conferencing, and Phone.
