ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Marketing and Communications Specialist will lead our content creation and communication initiatives. In this role, you will write blogs, social media, video scripts, press releases, and internal intranet articles. You will also be designing graphics, printed materials, and much more! The sky is the limit! You will manage social media channels, ensure consistent messaging, and plan key events for multiple channels within Essex Brownell.Organize national and regional tradeshows, customer events, trainings, and annual sales events.Support the design of marketing communications including graphics, copy, and creative.Lead content creation and communication initiatives.Write for blogs, social media, video scripts, press releases, and internal intranet articles.Design graphics, printed materials, and more.Manage social media channels.Travel opportunities.In office work collaborative setting with team dynamics.SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Ability to accurately assess the organization's communication needs and effectively relay information positively, clearly, and concisely, among all brands.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and confidently in public settings.Able to organize, prioritize, and complete work with accuracy.Have a high level of attention to detail and business acumen.Proactive and willing to take initiative.Willingness to work within a team.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related discipline preferred.2+ years' experience in marketing or sales position.2+ years of hands-on experience in written communications, digital marketing, and graphic design.COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient in Microsoft OfficeAdvanced in Adobe Creative Suite
