The Content Studio is WCS's on site pr oduction capability. Our Playa Vista state of the art production facility sits in the heart of silicon beach .

Position Summary
The Production Operations and R esourcing manager is a Senior Manage r position. Th is role will work with all production Senior Managers and leads to oversee general operations and resourcing of people, time and facilities . The candidate will also be responsible for making sure that the Studio function s as efficiently as possible, implementing tools and systems that drive optimized performance and output . You will also develop production scheduling tools with existing software and implement new solutions that drive optimized results . This will include project/infrastructure management, training, weekly WIP Reporting & Status meeting, Production interface, Operational advice and team mentoring. They must also liaise and foster relationships internally across all production studios , disciplines , creative and account stakeholders.
The Production Operations and Resourcing Manager is a leader who can motivate individuals to perform to their best. Excellent communication skills and an ability to mentor and spot problems before they arise are crucial. Candidates must be resilient, patient, approachable and accountable. A p roblem solver and a builder of net new workflows and studio operations protocols . This role demands the ability to pivot quickly, and the skills to get in and get the work done when necessary as well as anticipate & adapt to what's around the next corner , or when things aren't as efficient or effective as intended .
Responsibilities:
Develop scheduling, resource planning SOPs, and operationalize how productions are planned.Develop and implement universal intake form for IP .Run monthly u tilization reports and forecasts.Work with the facilities and studio teams to allocate equipment, production planning and sourcing based on project needs.Weekly report for status meeting containing all overrunning projects, suite and site utilization and relevant Studio o perational metricsOngoing project tracking and monitoring for best optimizationTimely flagging of overrunning projects and action plan to solve with Directors and project leadsTracking large scale enablement initiatives performance and progressDocumentation, training, governance, and enforcement of best Studio Operation s practicesWeekly Studio Operations meeting with on-site studio teamsWeekly Status meeting and reports for HOPOversee studio resourcing and budgeting tool specific for production and Post; and integration of data into Airtable , Anaplan and readouts for finance.Establish job jacket structure , SOPs and implementation for all producer s to use in job wrap .Work with all producers on job actuals, reconciliation and updating of job jackets.Work with production, artists and finance to audit and complete all job jackets prior to close ; including receipt of all assets .Responsible for freelance artist rate approvals and t racking on shared platform to ensure consistency and visibility .Review of overtime spend and discussion with HoP and EP for resolutionResponsible for approving all 3rd party/outsource costs

Efficiencies in Studio Operational effectiveness (including workshare & outsourcing)Delivery of projects within budget and to the highest creative potentialIncrease in year-on-year EBITDA due to improved Operational ManagementTimely flagging of roadblocks or project delaysDevelopment of production tools specific to studio resource management, estimates and actuals.Regular updates and successful milestones on enabling initiatives.Monitoring & Management of Freelance, Trace and outsource costsImplementation of leveraged departmental resourcing across IP for shared initiativesMaintaining freelance within budgeted levelsContinued optimization to support ROI metrics (lower cost per project, metrics for scoping and staffing plans)

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
