Job Title: Audio DirectorReports To: Production DirectorPosition Requirements:With minimal supervision, own the sound and audio for Transformation Church. This includes live broadcasts for online platforms, as well as all live environments. Work with the Production Team on implementing audio gear, systems, and technology to enhance and execute the weekend and online experiences so that TC is able to represent God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ.HEART (Passion + Purpose)Demonstrate a stable, mature Christian walk, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit.(Gal 5:22-23)Maintain a strong, personal relationship with God, exemplifying a disciplined worship plan through prayer, Bible study, and financial giving of tithes and offerings.Steward well church and personal finances, relations, time, and healthHelp transform lives by regularly inviting others to our church servicesEmotional health and balance between handling multiple, fast-paced projects simultaneouslyBelief and understanding of TC’s culture code, core behaviors, and C.O.R.E leadershipPassion for Representing God to the Lost & FoundWilling to become a member of TC and submit to the direction of the pastors and Lead StaffPassion for putting Christ in the middle of a cultureHANDS (Responsibilities + Duties)Receive, cast and translate vision and share effectively to a multi-generational, multicultural, and multi-ethnic bodyAnnually oversees the development of the departmental goals and objectivesConsistent assessment of teams, projects and programs to ensure effectiveness of departmentLeads team in the development of infrastructure to ensure the existence of both ground and global impactRecruit, equip, encourage and disciple audio contractors, volunteers and staff.Work with other members of the production team to provide audio support and best practices church wide.Collaborate with the Production Director in the purchase and maintenance of all essential audio equipment.Collaborate with Production and Worship Directors in supporting audio vision and direction for Transformation Worship.Support FOH sound for Transformation-owned venues, as well as conferences and/or tours.Strategic LeadershipLead major division-wide and department wide projects by facilitating cross-departmental/team workspaces, from conception to post-project debriefsLeads creation of agenda and discussion of department-wide (monthly) and Team Director meetings (weekly)Helps the Team Directors (TD) and their teams understand and carry out vision and strategic directionTracks strategic initiatives and major projects by monitoring progress towards meeting goals, analyzing data, ensuring follow-through and sustaining momentum needed to drive these initiativesOversees department budget and stewardship of financesLeadership DevelopmentProvide support, encouragement, and coaching in the development and nurturing of TDsLead weekly team meetings (1:1 or group settings) in a timely fashion, with agenda in mind to include major announcements/updates and leadership development trainingOversees the staffing, development, evaluation, and education of TDsQuarterly reviews for all direct reports, including occasional Mile Markers, Performance Improvement Plans, and Corrective ActionAll other duties, as assignedHEAD (Knowledge + Training)Required 5 to 10 years of experience within Audio/Visual industry and/or church live production.Ministry experience preferredAbility to lead self and others in a healthy environment that produces self-awareness along with the spiritual, emotional and professional growthAbility to adjust and handle multiple, high level, fast-paced projects simultaneouslyExceptional tact and discretion with confidential informationExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalSufficiently competent and skillful in technology (i.e. email, documents, presentations)Expert knowledge of Yamaha, Lawo, Shure, Waves, Dante, UAD, Pro Tools, and network audio.Highly tech-savvy, able to master new technology quickly and thoroughly.Ability to train and develop volunteers on equipment.Ability to resolve conflict in a calming manner.Ability to lead self and others in a healthy environment that produces self-awareness along with spiritual, emotional, and professional growthAbility to adjust and handle multiple, high-level, fast-paced projects simultaneouslyExceptional tact and discretion with confidential informationExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalSufficiently competent and skillful in technology (i.e., email, documents, presentations)Proficient computer skills with Apple, Microsoft, and Google products and the ability to learn TC-used databases and technologies#J-18808-Ljbffr
