The Robins School of Business seeks adjunct faculty members to teach Business Communication. Business Communication is a required business course in the Robins School and focuses on the written and oral communication skills necessary to succeed in the modern business environment. It teaches students how to communicate business information to business audiences. While the Robins School has no adjunct faculty openings for Business Communication at this time, the need for such faculty varies from semester to semester based on course enrollment pressures. The Robins School anticipates a need for the fall 2024 semester.
To be considered for future openings, please complete the on-line application and upload (1) a cover letter and (2) a curriculum vita. Applicants must have completed at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline and hold at least a master's degree. A Ph.D. in the teaching discipline is preferred. Candidates are expected to meet classes as scheduled, to strive to improve teaching effectiveness, to take a sympathetic interest in the progress and development of each student, to keep accurate records of the academic standing of each student, and to hand in promptly all reports of grades and other information required by the department chair, dean, registrar, provost, or the president.
