Who We Are Looking For
Managers in the Content Marketing Team are responsible for overseeing the team's operations, setting strategic objectives, and driving editorial content growth. They ensure that content production aligns with company goals and buyer engagement strategies, while leading the team in delivering high-quality content. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and data-driven decision-making to meet and exceed content performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Project Management & Process Improvement:
- Lead the execution of high-impact, research-based content anchors, such as quarterly surveys, to support traffic diversification goals.
- Refine and optimize existing content, ensuring alignment with traffic and engagement objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement by managing high-value opportunities for editorial content, prioritizing team efforts based on impact vs. effort analysis
- Content Creation & Management:
- Oversee the production and publication of various content formats, including articles, guides, webinars, email newsletters, and video.
- Manage both internal and external partners to deliver timely editing, publishing, and production of design and visual elements across content while ensuring editorial and brand standards.
- Ensure 100% completion of weekly content production tasks, driving engagement across buyer and service provider groups.
- Manage the editorial calendar, aligning with cross-functional teams to ensure content relevance, timeliness, and quality.
- Lead the content marketing initiatives in developing and executing content strategies that support business objectives, ensuring alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
- Data-Driven Insights & Analytics:
- Utilize platforms such as Ahrefs, Looker, and Conductor to gather insights, track performance, and identify areas for content optimization and growth.
- Monitor monthly keyword movements, leveraging data to make informed decisions on content direction and opportunities for traffic diversification.
- Develop and present visual performance reports, articulating the impact of content initiatives to stakeholders and marketing leadership.
- Stakeholder Communication & Influence:
- Clearly outline recommendations, goals, timelines, and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders and leadership, ensuring cross-functional projects stay on track.
- Communicate weekly and monthly content performance updates, offering analysis and recommendations for future improvements.
- Act as a liaison between the content team and other departments, ensuring that content initiatives align with overall business and product goals.
- Set clear OKRs and editorial roadmaps in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring priorities are communicated and deadlines are met.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through creative campaign development and testing plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 to 7+ years of experience in content marketing or a related field, with a strong background in managing content teams and strategies.
- Proven ability to oversee content production, manage editorial calendars, and drive organic growth through content marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in SEO software, content management systems, and project management platforms like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz, Asana, Hubspot and CRM tools.
- Intermediate experience with Looker, pivot tables, and familiarity with Vlookup or similar data analysis tools.
- Strong ability to leverage data-driven insights to make strategic recommendations for content development and prioritization.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality content that meets performance goals.
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with leadership and stakeholders.

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in Clutch’s annual performance bonus program and any applicable incentives, which will be communicated during the hiring process.
Salary at Clutch is determined based on factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, and market. For this position, we expect a base salary range between $80,000 and $110,000.
