Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Design Manager to oversee the operations and presentation of our Kitchen Showroom and Design Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers to bring a customer’s dream kitchen to life. This role requires a creative individual who can effectively balance aesthetics and functionality to create a compelling customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement innovative home kitchen designs that highlight ZLINE’s products. 
• Engage with customers to provide design consultations and support, offering expert advice on product selection and customization options.
• Create detailed CAD drawings for custom kitchen layouts, ensuring optimal use of space and adherence to each customer’s design standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and products for customer’s kitchens, such as cabinets and countertops.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure showroom products meet customer needs and preferences. 
• Be a subject matter expert on ZLINE products in order to suggest the best products for the customer’s needs. 
• Manage timelines and budgets for customer projects.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually improve the showroom experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 
• Proven experience in kitchen design, preferably with appliances, cabinets and/or countertops. 
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, 20/20) or similar design tools.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
