Marketing Content Specialist

At Journey Health & Lifestyle, we are building a dynamic, high growth direct-to-consumer healthcare products company. As a Marketing Content Specialist, you will help manage content creation and optimization across our marketing and commerce channels. Using words, pictures and videos to tell the story of our products and the impact they can have on our customers’ lives.
You will collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, customer service, product management, digital and operations groups to strategically deliver the right information and experiences to our customers through their pre-sales and post-sales journey. You will also manage our email campaigns and prospect and customer email flows using Klaviyo and/or Hubspot. The ideal leader for this position will be a consumer-focused, creative self-starter who can work collaboratively to increase the quantity and quality of all forms of content.
Job ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Marketing, Ecommerce and Sales teams to develop content and delivery of that content to grow Journey’s brand awareness and help educate customers at different stages of the sales funnelManage the company’s email campaign strategy and executionManage the company’s organic social media strategy and execution and assist paid media team as neededEvaluate and track key success metrics across email, social and online contentWork closely with the Marketing team on creative development
QualificationsBachelor’s degree requiredDirect to Consumer, Retail, Healthcare or CPG experience a plus5+ years of experience in email and content marketingExperience measuring, analyzing, and reporting performance of email, social and content effortsStrong ability to distill actionable insights from our data, identify growth opportunities, and develop execution plans accordinglyAbility to prioritize tasks and projects appropriately, understanding what involves the most urgencyStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a dynamic team environmentPassionate about digital media and wants to stay on top of trends and changes in the industry
This is a hybrid positon which will require work in our office 2-3 days per week. Candidates must live in the Richmond, Va. area.
