Key Responsibilities:Design Execution:
Create engaging print and digital materials, with a primary focus on print, including brochures, presentations, and various marketing collateral.Data Visualization & Infographics:
Develop and present data visually through charts, graphs, and infographics, particularly in financial contexts. The portfolio must highlight these skills with examples of data visualizations, such as pie charts, bar charts, and other data displays.Storytelling & Communication:
Communicate design ideas clearly and effectively in client-facing interactions, sharing the rationale behind creative decisions and presenting designs as compelling narratives.Production Adjustments:
Manage production adjustments on assets created by other designers, including tasks such as resizing images for print and digital use, adjusting color, ensuring proper spacing and fit, and resizing for various platforms (e.g., social media, web banners). This is a crucial part of the job, and candidates should be comfortable handling these types of modifications.
Qualifications:Experience Balance:
Strong expertise in both UX and UI design with a well-balanced approach, and demonstrated experience across print and digital media.Print Marketing Focus:
Extensive experience in print design is essential, with some experience in digital design. Candidates heavily skewed toward digital-only roles may not be a fit.Data Visualization Expertise:
A robust portfolio showcasing a variety of data visualizations, such as financial charts and infographics. Portfolios should include references to specific examples, highlighting work for diverse clients and industries.Industry Variety:
Experience in multiple industries is preferred to ensure a versatile design approach; a portfolio solely focused on one industry may not align with the position requirements.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present and explain design ideas to clients effectively.Production Skills:
Comfortable with production tasks on pre-designed assets, including image resizing, color correction, and layout adjustments for print and digital formats.
