Job Description
Would you like to earn some extra money and create WOW moments for our engaged and motivated art students? We are currently recruiting for an Art Teacher to start work as soon as possible. The location is our Larchmont, NY school. You'll teach a wide variety of mediums to students from K-12.
We have available spots in the afternoons and evenings on weekdays and on Saturday and Sunday during the day. Depending on your experience you can earn between $25 and $45 per hour.
Our curriculum is created centrally so there is minimal prep required and all tools, equipment and supplies are provided.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience teaching studio art
- BFA or BS Art Education (MFA or Master in Art Education a huge plus)
- A fun, engaging teaching style
- Thoughtful communication skills
- A passion for One River School's mission
- Must live within easy commutable distance from the school (Larchmont)
