POSITION SUMMARY

The concrete welder's role is to produce and weld glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) panels and structures, while following standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are being met. This position will cross-train and rotate throughout all operations of the concrete facility on an as-needed basis.

Creating unique climbing features, structures, and figures to enhance the sensory play experience. Our team specializes in unique one-of-a-kind structures or concepts for those playgrounds that want to go above and beyond the norm. The welder will support the interior structure of our concrete pieces through fabrication and design.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Support the fabrication and welding portion of the Concrete team to meet defined specifications

* Interpreting the Concept Designer's ideas and make them to scale, form, and proportion

* Work closely with the industrial artist team

* Able to follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality standards are being met

* Maintain equipment cleanliness and equipment

* Rotate and cross train into different internal positions

* Ability to operate overhead hoist and use forklift, as needed

Qualifications

* Ability to weld steel and aluminum with various machine applications. (LSI Certification required)

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, regularly

* Basic computer knowledge

* Proficient with Engineering Drafting practices and drawings

* Ability to fabricate and weld parts with minimum direction
