Job DescriptionAs a Senior Environment Artist, you will work independently to create exceptional art, and play a key role in designing the incredible environments for Project Orion - the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise.
Daily responsibilities
- Participating in the creation of ideas and plans for locations/levels for the upcoming Orion project.
- Collaborating with the Art Directors and Art Leads to maintain artistic consistency and vision for the game while building uncommon worlds.
- Creating high quality 3D models fitting Project Orion aesthetic.
- Creating high quality, photorealistic textures using various tools and middleware.
- Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible final quality.
- Collaborating effectively with Level Designers, Concept Artists, Environment Artists and every team involved in creating locations.
- Maintaining and improving production and optimization pipelines.
- Putting finishing touches on locations and cutscenes with existing meshes and decals.
- Mentoring and feedbacking team members.
- Being a knowledge base for other artists.
- Min. 6 years of experience in the video games industry and at least one AAA title shipped in portfolio.
- Excellent skills in one of the leading modeling packages (3DS Max, Maya, Blender etc.) and Photoshop.
- Great sense of scale, proportions and composition.
- Good knowledge about color theory and basic lighting techniques.
- Knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR).
- Creativity and an excellent eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for games.
Nice to have's

- An understanding of level design principles.
- Experience with photogrammetry in games.
- Experience with procedural content creation packages (Substance package, Houdini, World Machine).
- Sculpting skills.

This job requires working in Boston, US.
Working mode: in-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity.
