Salary:
Amplio is looking for a detail-oriented, compassionate, and technically savvy individual as their new Service Manager. The Service Manager is the initial point of contact for all technical support and warranty related issues that clients have with Amplio installed systems.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Acts as liaison between clients, manufacturers and vendors when dealing with warranty issues and return merchandise authorizations
- Coordinates return merchandise authorization paperwork on behalf of clients and works with manufacturers for timely resolutions of issues
- Responds to service requests via ticketing system, phone support, and internal Slack messaging system
- Oversees after-hours technical support
- Must be available for rotation of weekend “Service On-Call” duties
- When necessary, schedules in person service calls to resolve issues for Amplio clients
- Has project sales conversations with smaller churches/projects to develop new solutions
- Works with integration team to install and commission small projects
- As needed manages the sales, and install of small projects
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Has an entrepreneurial attitude
- Minimum of five years of experience with audio, visual and lighting technology
- Install and commissioning experience is a plus
- Experience with advanced networking protocols setup and commissioning
- Must be proficient in:
- Dante (Level 3 preferred)
- sACN
- ArtNet
- NDI
- VLAN setup
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work safely at heights above 30 feet
- Must feel confident safely operating power tools and consistently training others to do so as well
Special Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to local job sites in the Chicagoland and surrounding suburbs
- Limited travel to job sites outside of Chicagoland with occasional overnight stays
- Must live in the Chicagoland area or be willing to relocate
- Must hold a current driver’s license with a clean driving record
