We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support two of our Directors and an engineering team. This position requires a self-starter who can work independently, anticipate the needs of the team, and take initiative to seek out problems. In addition to being organized and analytical, the role benefits from someone displaying excellent problem solving skills when faced with challenging deadlines, and thriving in a dynamic environment by being flexible in the face of change. We're looking for a team member who is dedicated in nature, inventive, and possesses the ability to multi-task. Strong business judgment and interpersonal skills are needed to interact with a variety of people across multiple job functions and levels.
**Description**
*Set up meetings, manage calendars, and make travel arrangements. *Process expense reports, submit facilities requests, order office supplies and equipment. *Support daily requests/needs to keep the team running smoothly. *Organize new hire set-up including ordering equipment, securing office space, and communicating with managers to ensure a smooth start for all new hires. *Organize snacks, employee relations events big and small, catering as needed. *Update floor plans, organization charts, and handle space planning. *Record and track equipment for inventory audits. Provide backup support to other team admin when needed.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 2-3 years of experience working along side engineering teams in a high tech environment.
+ Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness are required.
+ Proficiency with Calendar, Pages, Numbers, Mail and other OS X based office software.
+ Great communication skills both spoken and written.

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $28.30 and $42.20/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
