Communication & Digital Media ManagerPurpose of the Job:To manage all communication and digital media for Hope City through the Brand Department.Experience and Knowledge Required:Associate degree or higher in communications2 years of experience in Creative Communications/Digital CommunicationsKnowledge of industry-specific practices, tools and languageExcellent written and verbal communication, including presentation skillsAbility to persuade and negotiate with others, including conflict resolution skillsHighly self-motivated with the ability to drive projects to completionEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Responsible for all church-wide email contentCompose weekly church-wide emailsMaintain all weekly emails in Mail ChimpWrite and schedule any special announcement emailsWrite engaging and creative captions for all social media accountsCreate talking points for the upcoming servicesHelp provide copy for internal and external communicationResponsible for capturing content at events (missions events, serve day events, staff events) in the event that a photographer is unavailable.Aiding the Creative Supervisor with planning out content, photoshoots for upcoming events, and writing copy for captionsWork with Production Team to write content for online preshowUpload Hope City audio podcastPublish weekend message on YouTube every Sunday eveningCreate weekly YouTube events for live streamResponsible for upkeep of website, app, podcast, Church Online & YouTubeAttributes:Devoted to the call of God and the vision of Hope CityOperates with a spirit of excellencePhysical Demands: Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
