Summary: This is a contract, remote role for a Content Developer and Social Media Manager responsible for crafting high-quality content and managing our company's social media presence. The ideal candidate is skilled in both creative content development and strategic social media management, with an ability to measure and optimize organic and paid social initiatives effectively. Responsibilities: I. Content Creation: Develop engaging, on-brand content across various media formats (video, AI-driven visuals, UGC) for all social media platforms. Plan, develop, and manage a content calendar aligned with marketing goals Increase follower count and engagement rates by creating interactive content and launching targeted campaigns that resonate with our audience. II. Social Media Strategy Development: Create and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales on website and social platforms. Focus on platform-specific strategies across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, X, Reddit, and LinkedIn. Stay informed on the latest trends, tools, and best practices to stay competitive and innovative on all social platforms. III. Community Management: Build and engage an online community, responding promptly to comments and messages to foster positive interactions and strengthen brand loyalty. Monitor and report on community sentiment and feedback to inform content and engagement strategies. IV. Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics weekly to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns. Use social listening tools and data insights to refine and optimize strategies and content. Evaluate performance of both organic and paid social initiatives, adjusting tactics as needed to meet and exceed KPIs. V. Paid Social Media Campaigns: Experience creating, launching, and optimizing paid campaigns on social platforms, especially TikTok and Meta (Facebook/Instagram). VI. Influencer Marketing: Identify and Cultivate Influencer Relationships: Research and engage influencers who align with the company's values and target audience. Build and maintain strong partnerships that authentically represent the voice and mission. Develop Creative Campaigns: Collaborate with influencers to design and execute innovative, on-brand campaigns that amplify reach, engage followers, and drive brand awareness across social platforms. Content Strategy and Oversight: Work closely with influencers to ensure content is high-quality, aligns with campaign goals, and adheres to brand guidelines. Guide influencers on key messaging, visual style, and storytelling to maintain consistency. Monitor and Report on Campaign Performance: Track influencer content performance, engagement rates, and audience sentiment. Provide data-driven insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies. VII. SEO and Keyword Strategy for Social Media: Platform-Specific Keyword Research : Conduct thorough research to identify keywords, trending hashtags, and search terms relevant to company and target audience across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Utilize social-specific tools (like Hashtagify or TubeBuddy) to stay updated on popular and relevant terms that increase content visibility. Optimizing Content for Discoverability : Integrate SEO-driven keywords and hashtags strategically into social media content, captions, video descriptions, and alt text to increase organic reach. On platforms like YouTube, optimize video titles, descriptions, and tags with high-impact keywords to improve searchability. Algorithm Engagement : Understand how different platform algorithms prioritize content based on keywords, hashtags, and user engagement. Tailor SEO strategies for each platform to enhance content discoverability and engagement, recognizing, for instance, that TikTok favors popular hashtags and trending audio, while LinkedIn responds to topical keywords and industry terms. Data Analysis and Adaptation : Regularly analyze performance data to track keyword effectiveness and engagement, adjusting the strategy as needed. Identify high-performing keywords and hashtags to inform future content creation and social posts, ensuring alignment with both seasonal trends and the brand’s evolving goals. Qualifications: Social Media Strategy & Marketing Knowledge : In-depth knowledge of organic and paid social media tactics, including content planning, targeting, optimization, and performance tracking. Experience in Social Media Management : 3 years of hands-on experience creating content and managing social platforms with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Content Development & Design Skills : Proficient in content creation, with strong aesthetic judgment and familiarity with current design tools. Analytical Skills : Strong data analysis skills with experience using social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or similar). Community Engagement Skills : Proven experience in managing an online community, including engagement and sentiment analysis. Communication & Writing Skills : Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create concise, compelling, and brand-aligned messaging. Project Management, Attention to Detail and Time Management: Demonstrated experience in project management or the use of project management tools. Strong organizational skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities.
