Content Integration Advisor

We have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Content Integration Advisor - Publishing in an entry-level role to join our Content Integration Team.
As a Content Integration Advisor, you will coordinate and relay the technical specs and requirements to publishers, and guide them through the PressReader proprietary testing process. Functional responsibilities include: maintaining information and data in backend databases, providing support to company staff, partners, and publishers on publication production issues, and communicating with publishers through email, telephone, and video conferencing.
Your contribution will be an ultimate driver towards PressReader’s success. Also, a big plus factor is you will be working with a very enthusiastic and collaborative team.
In this role, you will:
- Configure production and processing of digital newspapers and magazines replicas from around the world.
- Execute quality control and assurance measures adhering to Service Level Agreements.
- Provide technical support and services to our international clients and publishing partners.
- Create and maintain information and data in our systems and catalogs.
- Set up title restrictions, pricing, catalog metadata and embargoes.
- Liaise and collaborate with multiple internal and remote departments and teams.
- Test and launch new titles and e-paper projects.
- ·Negotiate project details with publishers on operational and technical levels.
- Relay technical specifications and requirements to publishers while guiding them through PR Testing process.
- Configure and support PressReader proprietary content processing software.
- Maintain and manage information and data quality in systems and catalogs.
- Communicate with publishers via email, telephone and video conference.
- Provide decision-making support to company staff and partners on publisher issues.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong command of the English language
- Strong organizational skills and prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional analytical and listening skills
- The ability to be highly flexible and resilient in the face of change and challenges
- Efficiency working in a team and ability to be self-sufficient requiring minimal supervision
- A strong ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactivity
- Proficiency in a Microsoft Windows Environment (legacy and current OS).
- A knowledge of basic networking protocols such as FTP, HTTP, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
- Experience with Adobe PDF software (Creative Suite an asset)
Bonus points if you:
- Have a Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computing Science, Digital Communications or related field
- Understand the publishing industry, digital and print media and/or journalism
- Have a second language both oral and written (Spanish, French and/or Chinese)
- Have the knowledge of programming, scripting, databases or networking

The pay range for this role is $50,000 to $55,000 depending on experience.
