Solomon Page is hiring: Freelance Social Media Content Specialist in Columbus

We are looking for a Freelance Social Media Content Specialist for a top fashion company in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We are actively seeking a driven, creative candidate to fill the role of Specialist, Social Media Content Marketing to drive best-in-class organic social content. The candidate that will be successful in this role will have in-depth knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Spotify and other top Gen Z social media platforms, with an expert grasp on Gen Z culture. In this role, you will be responsible for taking the social media strategy to concept and create videos, images, infographics, and text captions that are relevant to Gen Z. Working closely with creative and marketing, the team player should be able to identify trends across the social space and understand how our brand can capitalize on them authentically in real time. Candidates should be highly skilled at forming and managing internal and external relationships, generating creative, out-of-the-box ideas, and excel at bringing the best out in others. This leader must present an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in ambiguity.

Responsibilities:

• Create various forms of social media content— videos, and images—suitable for the various social media platforms, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, in partnership with creative and marketing
• Capture and edit both motion and still content
• Collaborate with the marketing & creative to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps us maximize social KPIs
• Ensure every piece of content you create aligns with our brand voice
• Close partnership with creative counterpart in all content planning, filming, and execution.
• Coordinate with all internal team members involved in the content creation and planning process, such as Creative, Production, Marketing, and Operations.

Qualifications:

• 2+ Years experience in social media video content creation and being on camera (professional or personal)
• Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
• Ability to create trending content in real time
• Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe, Photoshop, etc…
• Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, etc…
• Ability to turn a concept into compelling content
• Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
• Extensive knowledge of the social media platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and project management skills
