Urban Outfitters is looking for a Social & Content intern to join us for the Summer. This opportunity focuses on the curation, creation, strategizing, community, and reporting of the brands organic social channels. This role works closely with the brand marketing and creative team to create meaningful, engaging, and entertaining social campaigns that drive conversation and community to the brand.

The URBN 2025 Summer Internship Program will run from 6/2 through 8/8 at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA.

Summer Internship Program Application Process:

1. Apply to one (1) internship posting that best suits your interest & skills.? If there is a project component in the application (see below within role qualifications), it is required that you submit this to be considered for a position.??This is due at the time of your application submission.

2. Complete Video Interview: Candidates selected will receive an email with a link to complete a video Interview. You will have 2 days to complete this portion of the application once the email is received.??

3. Interviews will be scheduled with our internal teams, continuing on a rolling basis.???

Role Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and organization of social media assets, including gathering samples, content creation, scheduling, community management, and reporting.
  • Assist in building strategy for internal communication and presentations as related to social media.
  • Help identify trends, creators, and relevant topics across multiple platforms and sensibilities.
  • Ideate and brainstorm with team for new ways to develop and expand UO social channels.
  • Assist in social media project management, including shipping and gifting, organizing products and communicating with internal teams and external agency partners.


Role Qualifications:
  • Proficient skills in content editing programs (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Capcut, etc)
  • Strong sense of UO brand and customer
  • Thorough understanding of relevant and emerging social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, and Pinterest
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to self-manage, meet deadlines and complete tasks in timely manner.
  • Ability to research and identify tastemakers and trends as related to social media
  • Ability to translate happenings in the social media zeitgeist into relevant, actionable and on-brand content opportunities or dialogues for UO
  • Deep understanding of the ever-evolving social media vernacular

Project Requirement:

In addition to your application and resume, to be considered for this role you must submit a Concept Board (8.5 X 11 PDF format is preferred).?This is due at the time of your application submission. Once you complete your project, please upload it to additional documents section in the application process.

  • Create a social media marketing campaign concept board focused on Fall 2025 featuring tears of images (still life styling, editorial, artistic, branding, etc.) that you find aspirational for the brands creative direction and could be used as a potential collective campaign idea across email, digital and social platforms (Instagram and TikTok)
  • You may use visuals from blogs, Instagram, magazines, etc. to show your point of view but be sure to think like a marketer when pulling your aspirational tears and compiling the concept board.
  • Be sure to include 2-3 creators/influencers you could see as partners with this Fall 2025 campaign and why you think they would be great fits with our brand.
