The Creative Director guides all projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the Creative Department. The Creative Director take on a leadership role, directing overall creative of designers while generating big ideas and implementing training initiative to strengthen creative team. RESPONSIBILITES: • Accomplishes work requirements by orienting executing training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees. • Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements. • Actively involved with the hiring and training of the creative team. • Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors, copywriters, photographers and web developers. • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies. • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met. • Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral. • Manage and cultivate the career development of staff members, including designers, art directors, video production, video photographer production team and web developers. • Meet with client partners and/or upper management to explain and develop campaign strategies and pitch decks solutions. • Reviews cost standards by monitoring expenses, implementing cost-saving actions. • Determines production schedule by conferring with Associate Creative Directors, Art Directors, Director of Production, Director of Client Services & Creative Operations outlining basic presentation concepts, coordinating creative activities. • Determines project content by reviewing and approving art and copy materials developed by Designers. • Obtains creative approval by presenting final layouts to client-partners. • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes, recommending changes to art and production departments. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. • Develops marketing strategies by examining client objectives; planning, scheduling, and completing design and production requirements for direct marketing, telemarketing, and advertising. • Keeps client/partners informed by compiling, analyzing, and reporting marketing results, forwarding plan projections and updates. • Monitors marketing mix and results by coordinating tracking actions with sales and marketing campaigns and tactics. • Improves marketing quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing creative processes; implementing changes. • Supports client-partners by answering questions and responding to requests. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and in professional Development Programs. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Foster Teamwork, Positioning, Organization. • Coaching, Promoting Process Improvement, Proactive, Marketing Research, Client Relationships. • Developing Creative Standards, Productivity. • Fluency in current graphic design practices, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign a must. • 10 years experience in Graphic Design. • Knowledge of print structure and functionality. • 10 years experience in an Advertising leadership role and hospitality experience a plus. • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design. • Portfolio of previous work that displays an ability to turn an idea into a visual piece.
