Position Overview:
The Creative Services Manager you will play a key role in maintaining brand consistency and elevating the overall customer experience through engaging visual presentations. This position is responsible for visual installations, merchandising, and interior design planning in our retail locations, as well as for trade shows, company events, and other special initiatives. The manager will oversee the build-out planning of Greyson's physical spaces (retail locations, offices, on-site activations, etc.), developing and implementing visual merchandising standards across our retail stores, creating visually compelling merchandising guides for each collection, managing seasonal décor, and supporting various visual initiatives within the company. This is a hybrid position requiring extensive travel and flexibility in scheduling, including some nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive visual merchandising standards guide outlining best practices and guidelines for store displays.
- Establish a process for store locations to submit their visual merchandising installations for review/approval, ensuring brand consistency when on-site visits are not viable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create visual merchandising plans for each collection and seasonal change-over, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives. These plans should not only be visually impactful but should also support driving revenue by considering assortment depth, top-selling items, and sell-through rates.
- Partner with the VP of Retail and Human Resources to establish a Visual Merchandising Training Guide for New Hires to ensure accountability and consistency.
- Execute visual installations in stores, ensuring displays are set up according to established standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate visual supplies and materials needed for store displays, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
- Support the visual setup for corporate and retail special events, including trade shows and on-site activations, to ensure brand representation and visual consistency.
- Assist with the visual setup for new store openings, working closely with store teams to ensure adherence to visual standards and brand image.
- Train new store teams on visual expectations and execution, providing guidance on display techniques and merchandising principles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Retail Management, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a retail environment, with a strong emphasis on interior design.
- Strong creative abilities with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred.
- Flexibility to travel extensively and work outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
