Role
We are looking for a Creative Operations Program Manager to join the creative team at Whatnot! Our small but mighty team is responsible for building the Whatnot brand and crafting best-in-class creative across physical and digital experiences. As a core member of the team, you will ensure project delivery excellence by optimizing the creative process, and building effective partnerships with all internal and external partners across the company. You will juggle multiple different projects at once, and ensure our creative team is resourced appropriately to tackle the highest impact jobs.
You will improve team communication, collaboration, and remove roadblocks. You'll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help keep our teams on track, execute specific design initiatives intended to grow team culture, industry expertise, and team impact, and you'll have an opportunity to work with cross-functional teams as you establish great ways of working together.

As our next Creative Operations Program Manager, you should have 6+ years of experience in creative operations, plus:
$125,000/year to $165,000/year + benefits + equity.
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.

- Identify and drive large, organization-level marketing initiatives forward that have multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, multiple dependencies and many moving parts.
- Field creative requests from cross-functional teams, build processes and foundations from the ground up, and manage priorities and bandwidth to optimize resourcing to support a growing marketing team.
- Proactively assess risk, raise flags, and resolve issues before they become problems for the larger teams.
- Own and facilitate meetings to drive progress against goals and objectives, and establish clear next steps and owners while resolving blocks that impede progress.
- Use persuasive communication to the right audience to get buy-in and feedback. Proactive in problem solving and effective information distribution.
- Define and measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively. Continually refine and iterate to ensure usage and adoption.
- Scales programs and initiatives when necessary. Delegates effectively with clear expectations.
- Source and manage operational budgets, vendor relationships and contracts related to how our creative team operates.

As our next Creative Operations Program Manager, you should have 6+ years of experience in creative operations, plus:
- 6+ years of experience in creative, marketing, or design project / program management, preferably within a high-growth startup, marketplace or creator-focused platform.
- Experience handling complexity and navigating ambiguity with teams on large-scale brand campaigns from concept to execution.
- Experience working with product & marketing teams from roadmapping through delivery.
- Track record of operating independently and without oversight in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Able to prioritize, assess tradeoffs, problem solve, and propose clear solutions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Deep understanding of creative processes and timelines.
- Experience managing vendors and contractors.
- Data driven, with demonstrated experience using data to identify problems and communicate solutions.
- Experience leveraging the latest creative project management and resourcing tools to fit the unique needs of your teams.
