The Associate Director, Rare disease Marketing is a key role on the Rare Disease Commercial Team. The position reports to the Iqirvo Brand Lead and will support US marketing initiatives and key promotional activities to help the Iqirvo team achieve near-term revenue goals. Responsibilities include brand planning, development of marketing materials and messages, multichannel engagement planning and other key US promotional initiatives to support brand growth and new product launch. The role will include execution of both personal and non-personal promotional tactics.

Specific responsibilities will include collaboration with Thought Leader Engagement Team, Field leadership, Sales training and Value and Access tram to ensure coordinated execution of the brand plan and launch plan. Included in the scope will be KOL engagement, field and Omnichannel integration, sales data analysis, HCP targeting and segmentation, and marketing budget management. The SPM/Associate Director will also be responsible for collaboration with training and field leadership to ensure best in class training for the field force.

Cross-functional leadership skills and proven track record of building and executing marketing plans in collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners are critical in this role.

Main Responsibilities & Job Expectations

Core Marketing ActivitiesContribute to Brand Planning and Tactical Plan development for IqirvoSupport quarterly business review, brand performance measurement and reviewSupport development of brand creative campaign for Iqirvo including development of campaign tacticsDevelop strategic training plan with the aim of developing best-in-class Rare disease sales organizationLead key initiatives including Peer to Peer & congress planningDevelop and monitor KPIs for brand tactical plan and communicate performance vs leading and lagging indicator to Rare Disease leadershipCross Functional Leadership

/ Collaborate with :

Rare disease field leadership to provide support with sales force executionMarketing, Patient support & Sales teams on brand promotional development,, execution and performance managementV&A team, Sales leadership, TLE team and Training team on brand promotional plan development, execution and performancePromotional review committee to ensure compliant development of field resources in line with the strategyCross functional team lead-stakeholder management:

Incorporate insights from primary and secondary research into development of field promotional tacticsShare leadership responsibilities for bi-weekly cross-functional brand team meetingsWork with advanced analytics to ensure appropriate understanding and implementation of brand strategy.Knowledge, Abilities & Experience

BA/BS in relevant field is required, Pharm D or MBA preferredProven cross-functional leadership skills to lead across a complex matrixStrong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to influence othersMinimum of 2 years home office experienceSuccessful launch experience in the rare or specialty categoriesAbility to work with multiple internal cross-functional teams and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated consistent track record of successStrong scientific/medical aptitude and experienceSignificant experience in, and knowledge of Rare disease with complex science and reimbursementDemonstrated success in project, vendor, and experience managing large budgetsKnowledge of the AMA, ACCME, PhRMA and FDA regulations associated with promotion and industry-supported scientific education activities.Working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics, programs and tools that achieve business objectives.Excellent written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal communication skillsWillingness/ability to travel domestically. International travel may be requiredAble to work from our Cambridge, MA HQ 2-3 days per week on a hybrid model, so local candidates only please (this is not a remote role)

The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $215,000

The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
