Job Title:Senior Brand Designer, Digital
Pay Details:The annual base salary range for this position in California is $70,000 to $100,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education/training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.
Our Team
At OCVIBE, we are building a cross-functional internal creative department focused on defining the visual and strategic expression of the OCVIBE portfolio of brands as we work towards opening in 2026. Our team is a mix of remote and onsite creatives from both in-house and agency backgrounds with a diverse range of skills and experiences spanning advertising, interactive design, content creation, and sports marketing. As a team, we are committed to deep collaboration, empathetic communication, individual growth, and creating best-in-class brand and marketing projects.
Summary of Position
We're looking for a senior-level visual and digital brand designer who loves to bring clarity to complex concepts and design problems. You're highly strategic and passionate about design, storytelling, and continually pushing to evolve the brand and marketing space. You use any visual means necessary to communicate ideas, and you're willing to start anywhere, with anything, and iterate your way to the right outcome without being precious about any one solution. You connect everything you do to the goals of the project, never getting distracted by something that doesn't tie back. You do your best work when collaborating with fellow designers, strategists, writers, technologists, project managers, and stakeholders. You'll be a key person within the brand and experience team, responsible for defining how the OCVIBE brand scales over time.
What You'll DoLead the creation of unified visual design systems across marketing touchpoints that are contextual, clear, and beautifulDeliver smart solutions to the right problems-defined by the strategic vision and annual marking goals, from digital to physical experiencesWork on a multi-disciplinary team in a highly collaborative and communicative environment with diverse perspectives and expertiseBuild and maintain the visual system component library and design tokens within FigmaConceive and design projects including but not limited to interactive environmental graphics, marketing materials, presentations, website components and campaignsUse storytelling to strategically enhance and scale our visual systemMaintain a high level of creative standards and help mentor fellow designers and freelancers to meet those standards and production requirementsParticipate in kick-offs, creative reviews, and other stakeholder meetings to ensure business goals are understood and met from a creative standpointHelp with project prioritization to ensure deadlines are metDeliver and present work to the Creative Director and ECDWhat You'll Bring
