Role Summary/Purpose:

The Consumer Engagement team is looking for a marketing superstar to lead the end-to-end customer lifecycle program for the Verizon Co-brand portfolio. You have a strong marketing acumen, built from experience creating and executing high-impact marketing campaigns while maniacally focused on taking a cardholder-first approach. You think strategically to identify opportunities to drive sales growth while simultaneously exceling at planning and execution. You will partner closely with the Verizon Marketing Leader, Verizon marketing partners, and key cross-functional teams. You have a good understanding of Co-brand and/or general-purpose card marketing. This role will report to the VP, Consumer Engagement Lifecycle Marketing Leader and manage a consultant for execution support.

Essential Responsibilities:

Partner with Lifecycle and Verizon marketing leaders to develop and implement lifecycle plans to drive portfolio growth

Design and execute customer communications to accelerate card usage in the early months and throughout the cardholder's tenure. Drive a continuous test/learn/iterate agenda.

Drive continued innovation in evolving marketing programs most effective in shifting share of wallet, diversifying card spend and driving loyalty at scale

Identify opportunity for a digital-first approach to differentiate portfolio marketing

Partner with the Analytics, Product, and Operations teams to analyze portfolio data and translate into insights and recommendations to drive card engagement, spend and loyalty

Identify customer segments for targeted test-and-learn campaigns and curate messages and offers accordingly to deliver ROI positive results

Manage end-to-end campaign development including forecasting and results reporting; managing the automation of email triggers and ongoing campaigns in partnership with Marketing Solutions team; effectively managing external agencies to drive high-impact creatives; articulating campaign strategy and results to key stakeholders

Manage lifecycle budget allocations to ensure optimal resource utilization and alignment with organizational goals

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma and 12+ years of marketing experience in the credit card or financial services industries

8+ years of relevant marketing experience to include:

Marketing leadership skills (analytic and creative) with significant exposure to consumer facing programs/products

Experience with digital marketing

Desired Characteristics:

Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills

Hands-on experience with marketing development and execution (omni channel)

Ability to develop and implement actionable and measurable plans to drive business results

Strong project management skills.

Track record of creative problem solving and ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment

High energy, self-motivated, passionate innovator and customer advocate.

Experience with Cosmos, Workfront and other SYF execution platforms a plus

Experience in the credit card industry, particularly Cobrand Card space

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
