One of our clients has a brand-new opportunity for a Level 2 Audio-Visual Technician to join their team onsite in the Princeton, NJ area. The ideal candidate must be able to support on occasional weekend and after-hours, as well as provide on call support if required.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide audio / visual ETS Conference room support

Set up all corporate meetings with 200 plus attendees, using professional quality audio and video equipment

Work with facilities teams for event setups

Perform AV system monitoring

Order team, department, and company supplies
-
Work with users for proper functionality and training
-
Work closely with the Executive Leadership Team (White glove like support) for AV issues and setup
-
Work with third party vendors for Network support and Crestron maintenance
-
Work with Desktop Support teams to understand key AV basics in order to provide supplemental coverage as needed

Maintain AV equipment inventories across multiple conference rooms
-
Additional tasks and responsibilities may arise as environment requires
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5+ years of experience working as an AV technician
-
In-depth knowledge of sound, video, and lighting equipment
-
Familiarity with computers and IP Networking Systems
-
Experience working with organizers and running Live Event meetings including where both the group of presenters and the audience members may be split between the presentation room / area and connected remotely

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Previous experience setting up TC8 and X50 / X70 cameras

Ability to log into Polycom units for troubleshooting

Familiar with the Poly Lens Web interface

Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Teams) and Zoom Video

Able to connect tablets and laptops to existing conference room technology

Knowledge of Creston AV systems preferred

Experience connecting microphones and systems to analog mixers
-
Experience maintaining AV Equipment

Ability to create instructional documentation for conference rooms
-
Must have ability to independently prioritize projects

Must have advanced analytical abilities and technical knowledge

Keen eye for detail

Good communication and interpersonal skills
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
