You will play a key role on the team that helps keep the Marketing organization up-to-date on company strategy and direction, key marketing programs, organizational design, as well as large-scale process and technology changes.You will be a strategic partner in designing and executing communications programs that reach large audiences of employees. You will share communications best practices and implement programs, campaigns, tools, and resources that help drive the success of Marketers at Salesforce. This role is a key connector who collaborates with stakeholders throughout the Marketing organization to help teams identify the most share-worthy news, understand where and how to publish information, as well as measure and communicate results. This position is ideal for a communications enthusiast with a passion for helping teams learn and grow, and who produces high quality messaging and programs. This role is part of the Marketing Operations team and reports to the Director, Internal Communications & Marketing Enablement.ResponsibilitiesManage the development of, and maintain the publishing status, reconciliation, and tracking of key cross-functional strategy documents, ensuring that all delivery vehicles and systems are in alignmentSupport the launch and continued maintenance of strategic Marketing enablement programsCollaborate with Marketing Operations, Employee Success, Finance, and Public Relations to ensure cohesive communications that aligns to companywide messagingAlign, inspire, and connect teams by simplifying complex concepts into clear, relevant communications for a large Marketing organizationUnderstand strategic priorities and create relevant internal comms plan to supportApply industry best practices for internal communications within a large, global organizationDevelop, build, and manage relationships with executive stakeholders and their teamsEnable Marketing employees on major company initiatives - strategic events, campaigns, product news, promotion cycles, org changes, and moreBuild trust, manage expectations, and provide regular updates on program status and outcomesSupport the production of large, leader-hosted All Marketing CallsInspire employee attendance at internal events; track results and apply key learnings to improve future comms, event content, and participation.Track, measure, and report outcomes; provide actionable employee insights and suggest relevant topics based on formal and informal feedback.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Business OperationsBA/BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Teaching, Learning and Development, Business)Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Strong writing skills are a mustExceptional project management skills with an organized, and detailed approach.Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into digestible written content for diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to independently prioritize and work within deadlines on highly visible eventsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This job requires taking messy, inconsistent inputs and creating clear, actionable outputs for different audiencesMotivated, proactive self-starter capable of working independently and with multiple stakeholder groupsAbility to work well under tight timelines and manage competing priorities, programs, and rapid changes, often in ambiguous situations across our company's most complex, cross-functional initiatives.Confidence voicing opinions, both positive and contraryAbility to work with a geographically dispersed team, with work concentrated in the Pacific Time Zone.Deep understanding of how to adapt tone, style, content structure, and format across channels for content clarity.
