The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the institution's efforts to attract and retain students, as well as managing the public image of the University. This role involves overseeing all recruitment operations, collaborating with academic and administrative committees on admissions and retention policies, and working with financial administration on the development and monitoring of financial aid and student services. The VP will also lead a team of marketing and communication professionals to ensure the University is effectively branded both on and off campus. Applicants for the VP position must be Seventh-day Adventists in good and regular standing, with a graduate-level degree and a proven track record of effective spiritual leadership. The role requires a deep understanding of the dynamics of Seventh-day Adventist higher education in North America, experience in intercultural contexts, and strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The VP will be expected to provide strategic marketing and communication support to various University departments and to guide the institution's official communication efforts, including media relations, social media, and website management.
