Sr. Tech Writer

A Fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Tech Writer to join their IT Supply Chain Organization. This person will help support the development teams by being the liaison between business and them. This person will work closely with the product owner, business stakeholders, and team leads/staff engineers to plan out the work that the developers will be working on each sprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong personality and communication skills, as well as technical acumen/come from a background in IT to be able to interface and work with development groups.
This role is 100% remote but works EST hours. This role pays between $60-75/hr. based on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills & Experience- 4+ years of experience as a tech writer- Background as a developer (may be open to background in other areas of IT)- Experience in an enterprise level environment- Experience w/ taking business requirements stories into technical stories, defining SLA's, defining implementation patterns, updating documentation, etc.- Extremely organized and detail oriented- Great communication and ability to work with high level stakeholders and executives.
