Overview:
DecisionPoint is seeking an experienced
Technical Writer
to join our team! The successful candidate will work closely with federal staff, providing management, engineering and technical services on matters related to cybersecurity posture, and ensuring that cyberspace controls are implemented according to applicable documentation.This position is onsite in Scott AFB, IL.Duties & Responsibilities:Provide support in the management and documentation of systems supported by the customer, beginning with initial requirements documentation to include full diagrams, schematics, operational procedures, and guidelines.Assist in creating technical specifications for lifecycle and modernization efforts.Assist in drafting and standardizing documentation to include Standard Operating Procedures, task lists and procedures.Draft and present documentation to team leadership and customer Point of Contact for review, approval, and submission to the provided documentation repository.Review and apply network configuration management and technical documentation retroactively to all services provided by the team as required.Document all current, future, and previous projects or solutions and maintain in the Government provided repository (currently Microsoft SharePoint and Confluence).Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Working experience in high-availability environments.Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance.Minimum of 2 years of experience as a technical writerStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience on current Air Force Defensive Cyber Realization, Integration, and Operational Support (DCRIOS) contract highly desired.Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:
