Job Title: Graphic Design Strategist Location: Main Office (flexibility to work in a hybrid or remote setting after your first 90 days, based on performance) Status: Full-Time (40 hours a week) Reports to: Marketing Director
Position Purpose Granite Credit Union is a member-focused financial institution dedicated to providing outstanding banking solutions and exceptional service to our members and community. As a Graphic Design Strategist, you will play a key role in shaping our brand's visual identity and marketing success. Through creative design and strategic insights, you'll help drive member engagement, elevate our brand's reputation, and communicate our values effectively. Essential Duties, Skills & Abilities • Promote outstanding member service through Granite Credit Union Service Standards and Values. • Under the direction of the Brand Manager, develop and maintain collateral assets that support the promotion of credit union products and services. Understand graphic layout principles and brand standards to meet sizing and formatting specifications for various collateral assets. • Develop and maintain collateral assets to support the promotion of credit union products and services, aligning all designs with Granite Credit Union's brand standards. This includes digital and print design for various marketing campaigns and channels. • Maintain consistency and brand guidelines across graphic assets, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels, campaigns, and assets. • Use marketing analytics tools to track campaign performance, applying data insights to improve design strategies, audience targeting, and optimize creative assets. • Coordinate production of marketing materials by obtaining and managing vendor bids, ensuring timely completion and distribution of in-house collateral. Includes printing, trimming, folding, packaging and distribution. • Assist in maintenance of internal and external messaging platforms including credit union website, employee intranet, electronic messaging systems, etc. • Assist in the development and implementation of the overall marketing plan, specifically the creative process for collateral assets and messaging which may include copywriting. • Capture photos and videos during credit union events for potential use and as promotional content. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines and deliverables to meet campaign deadlines efficiently. • Manage tracking and processing of marketing-related invoices in collaboration with the accounting department. • Oversee the ordering, processing, and distribution of marketing materials and supplies, including swag and other branch-requested items. This includes coordinating with vendors and ensuring timely delivery. • Other duties as assigned. • Attend meetings as required.
Required Experience & Skills • Demonstratable portfolio showcasing graphic design and creative capabilities • Familiarity with mid-to-advanced marketing analytics tools (i.e., Google Analytics) is preferred. • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
Education • Degree or certification in Graphic Design. • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
