Part-Time Artist Hospitality Employee:
Overview:
PTG Live Events, LLC, more commonly known as The Pabst Theater Group, is a multi-faceted entertainment organization that hosts over 600 live events annually across six venues in downtown Milwaukee: Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Miller High Life Theatre, Turner Hall Ballroom, The Fitzgerald, and the occasional offsite event/show. The Pabst Theater Group is dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality to world-class artists and patrons alike. This is a union-represented position in collective bargaining.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up, break down, and attend to catering service(s)
Set up and prepare dressing rooms according to the rider and instructions of the DOS manager
Clean and break down dressing rooms at end of show
Laundry
Dishes
Operate elevator
Furniture and supply set up and tear down of dining room, dressing rooms, and prep areas
Cleaning and sanitation as needed throughout shift
Select and play appropriate music for tour's backstage listening pleasure
Ensure refreshments are replenished throughout the day for barista, production and touring crew
Well versed in the food prepared by the kitchen team
May be required to prepare basic food platters per rider requirements and requests
Acting as a brand ambassador for PTG
Prepare and distribute stock for tour buses. This includes but is not limited to; bags of ice, bagged meals, etc.
Shop out riders per management request
Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned by management, to ensure effective utilization of company resources and to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Great communication and customer service experience
Outgoing personality and professionalism with customers
Excellent organization and time management
Must be available to work multiple shifts per week; weekend and evening availability strongly preferred
Must be okay working in loud conditions as well as some heavy lifting
Cash handling skills
Hours are part-time and can vary dramatically week to week - the perfect job for students, or those who already have another full or part-time job
Interest, degree track, or participation in any facet of the live music or entertainment industry a plus, but not required
