Summary of Position:
The Audio Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Audio in Faith Family Church services, conferences and other events at our Baytown campus and offsite locations. The Audio Specialist is responsible for mixing all services, mastering audio for FFC videos during the week, and developing, maintaining and overseeing the broadcast team, as well as all audio equipment needed to support all events of Faith Family Church.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Live Audio for services
- Broadcast Audio (Dream Team)
- Editing/Mastering audio for videos during the week
Duties and Responsibilities
- Mix all audio for all services and events at FFC Central.
- Serve as leader for audio systems and equipment including: setting up and operating equipment for services and events; updating hardware, software, and equipment firmware;
- Serve as leader of broadcast audio Dream Team (“DT”), including recruitment, training, scheduling, ministry relations, leadership development, appreciations, social events, and team database management..
- Organize, schedule, and conduct regular training sessions for potential broadcast audio DT.
- Support Technical Director in other production projects such as set changes, maintenance, etc.
- Report any challenges to the Technical Director.
- Work with creative team to master and edit all audio used in FFC videos
- Submit all work orders / repairs to the Technical Director.
Important skills/personal traits:
- Detailed knowledge of digital and analog audio systems and networks as well as large-format digital consoles. (Dante, CL5, DM7 etc.)
- Detailed knowledge of wireless audio infrastructure
- Details knowledge of Waves
- Basic knowledge of Production systems, such as Lighting, Video, and managed networks.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up and down stairs and ladders on a regular basis.
- At least 3 years of live worship mixing experience

- All teams are following the meetings guidelines adopted in 2022
- Communication
- Responsible for communicating weekly with your team leaders under your oversight and that your team leaders are communicating weekly with their teams.
- Follow communications strategies adopted in 2022
- All Team messaging goes through the Church Center app
- Responsible for communicating weekly with your team leaders under your oversight and that your team leaders are communicating weekly with their teams.
- Care & Connection
- Care
- Weekly Care: Responsible for spending 2-4 hours a week caring for and connecting with the people of FFC through phone calls, meetings, and emails.
- Crisis Care: Responsible for responding to any team member under your oversight that is facing a crisis care situation such as a death in the family, funeral, hospitalization, or offense
- Small Group
- Enthusiastically lead a small group in each of the 3 small group semesters.
- Help recruit and launch 5 small groups in the Spring/Fall semester.
- Dream Team
- Connection: Responsible for assisting new Dream Team members under your oversight find their place within the Dream Team culture.
- Fellowships / Training: Ensure that all teams under your oversight are having 2 fellowships per year and 2 pieces of training per year. (once per quarter)
- Leaders: Responsible for ensuring all teams are being led by an approved leader.
- Schedules: Responsible for ensuring that all team members under your oversight are on a monthly schedule, serving regularly, and fulfilling their God-given potential.
- Communication: Responsible for communicating weekly with your team leaders under your oversight and that your team leaders are communicating weekly with their teams.

- Have the required knowledge:
- Working knowledge of computers and basic computer programs, such as: Planning Center, Monday.com, Google Suite, Expensify, Bamboo HR, Mailchimp, and Clearstream
