Assists with AV designs, user guides and testing documents. Works directly with project managers, senior programmers, and engineers to identify opportunities to improve software applications’ operating effectiveness and efficiency. Position requires CONUS and OCONUS travel up to 50 percent of the time.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop AV control code to support operational and security requirementsImplement AV control code in lab and operational environmentsComplete assigned software implementation tasks to high standard on-scheduleParticipate in engineering design reviews to verify design adherence to standards and specificationsWrites or revises program documentation, operations documentation, and user guidesPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired QualificationsThree years of VTC/AV engineering experienceCertified as Crestron, AMX, or Extron trainedExperience with Crestron, AMX, and Extron programmingExperienced applying AV control codesAble to read and interpret engineering designsAble to work independently or in a team environment and multi-task while maintaining attention to detailPossess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate (verbal and written) and deal with all levels of project support staff and stakeholdersDesired QualificationsExperience with secure control communications with EVERTZ MMA-10G and Nuclues systemsExperience Clearone Converge softwareEducation Requirements:Bachelors of Science (business, engineering, computer networks, or cybersecurity)Experience in lieu of degree: additional three - five years of experienceSecurity Clearance Requirements:Top SecretPhysical Requirements:Sitting (50%), Standing (50%), Climbing (15%), Walking (50%), Lifting (15%), Pulling/Pushing up to 50lbs (5%), Carrying up to 45lbs (5%), Grasping (50%), Reaching (25%), Stooping/Crouching (33%),Travel - OCONUS/CONUS - 50%This position description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
