We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a Part Time Lecturer of Communication Studies and Mass Communication beginning Spring 2025.
The department is seeking part-time lecturers to teach courses for spring 2025. Courses may include but are not limited to Public Speaking, Introduction to Communication, Video Editing, Visual Communication. Media Law and Ethics, Multimedia Storytelling, Advertising: Theory & Practice and other communication and mass communication courses at the Undergraduate level.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have at least a Master's Degree in Communication or a related field or a Master's degree and 18 graduate hours in communication.
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications Preferred Qualification
Previous Experience teaching courses mentioned in the Scope of Job at an undergraduate and graduate level. Also preferable is experience with the development and delivery of online and/or hybrid courses.
