Job Overview: The International Franchise Association (IFA) is seeking a creative, data-driven, and action-oriented Director of Content Strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and brand engagement, with the ability to capture, produce, and share across channels. This role will focus on developing compelling stories and building authentic connections with our audience. Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the overarching Marketing strategy, including all IFA products and the Foundation, to enhance IFA’s brand presence and engage its audience effectively. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy Development: Design and implement a content strategy that supports IFA’s goals, focusing on the member journey, engagement and the products of the IFA which drive revenue and the member value proposition. Content Calendar Management: Develop and maintain a content calendar to schedule and prioritize content publication. Ensure timely delivery of content across various channels. Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality, original content including articles, videos, infographics, and multimedia assets. Ensure all content is engaging, relevant, and consistent with IFA's brand voice and messaging. Audience Engagement: Analyze audience insights and engagement metrics to refine content strategies. Develop targeted campaigns to increase audience reach and interaction. Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging. Build and maintain relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and influencers. Performance Measurement: Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content initiatives, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed. Thought Leadership: Position IFA as a thought leader in the franchising industry through impactful content and strategic partnerships. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Experience: 7 years of experience in content strategy, marketing, or communications. Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate teams, fostering a collaborative work environment. Content Expertise: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating diverse content types. Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, and social media platforms.
