Starting from just after school clubs to before and after-school programs, we blend fun with science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) to spark creativity and innovation. Position Summary:
The Creative Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication strategies to convey a company’s brand, message, or product in innovative and engaging ways. This role typically involves working with a variety of media, including digital, print, and social platforms, to ensure consistent messaging across channels. As a remote position, it requires excellent self-management, communication skills, and proficiency with digital collaboration tools. This position requires a self-starter who is creative, strategic, and able to work effectively in a remote environment. Please be advised that this is a hybrid position meaning that you will work remotely and in office when requested.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement creative communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create compelling content for multiple platforms including websites, blogs, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
• Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to create cohesive communication plans.
• Continuously optimize content strategies based on data and feedback.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in creative communications, content creation, or public relations.
• Must have a portfolio and own your own equipment / technology (Computer, Camera, Software)
• Must be willing to work in office and commute to different locations for projects on occasions.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in digital collaboration tools (Wordpress, Canva, Google Workspace etc).
• Crafting skills and video editing ability is a plus.
• Familiarity with Meta Business, SEO, analytics, and other performance metrics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or office setting.
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Job Type:
- Part-time
- Hybrid Position (Remote or In Office when requested)
Compensation:
- $17 per hour. Pay is biweekly.
Schedule:
- August 2024 - May 2025
- Monday - Friday
- 4 Hours Daily. Hours are flexible.
- Hours can increase depending on special events.
