Come build with us and take your career to new heights.Who You AreThe successful candidate will perform all the required inspections on product to assure compliance to CAM's Quality System, Specifications and Customer requirements for Industrial and Military/Aerospace products.Position Responsibilities•Expedite product throughout manufacturing cycle•Ensure flow and availability of materials required to meet production schedule•Monitor workflow and material movement; identify bottlenecks preventing movement through shop•Support Production Plan and participate in weekly Production meetings•Work closely with Material Scheduler, Supply Chain Manager and Plant Leads to support all expedite activities, especially from upstream planner codes that feed top level and subassembly level item•Assist with effective production planning in working towards meeting customer requirements and requested delivery schedules•Manages and drives the materials function to have 75%+ on time release of work orders up to 3 days after target WO start date (after the output of customer EDI and MRP review)•Assists in Expediting material, where required, to meet shortfall between current plan and customer order requirements. Work closely with Outside Processing •Establish priorities with Material Scheduler needed for details produced in both Manchester and Columbia EAP sites; support or create priority list with Quality designee•Able to travel to Columbia 2X a week•Participate in Annual Physical Inventory•Other projects, as assignedCandidate RequirementsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities•High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred•Minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment; materials management and production control/expediting experience preferred•Detail-oriented •Decision making ability, strong interpersonal skills•Effective, persistent communicator•Flexible, responsible, and dependable•Must be a team player and highly motivated; able to work well across business operations and develop strong business teams•Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and projects and prioritize workload with limited direction•Available to work overtime and Saturdays based on business needsWe Don't Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too.Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 58,000 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
