OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented and strong digital creative content manager who will successfully work with a team and manage junior team members to create content for social and web channels. You will play a key role in the future success of some of the organization's most-visited social media accounts and websites.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven, with expertise in content strategy, brand redesign, and multi-project management. They excel at aligning creative work with brand identity, producing culturally relevant digital content. Their knowledge of digital trends and engagement strategies drives brand awareness, traffic, and positive perceptions.
This is a contract-to-hire role (only considering candidates who are interested in converting to a permanent position) starting in December 2024. This role is hybrid - 3 days a week onsite; however, during the first few months, it will be 5 days a week onsite. Great opportunity for growth and competitive benefits package!
RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide the development and execution of a layered social media approach that ensures cohesive content across all teams and departments.Shape and roll out content plans for social media and the website, aligning with overall brand and business priorities.Coordinate scheduling and updates through detailed content calendars for online channels.Generate and source relevant, engaging content (including text, visuals, and video) tailored for each digital platform.Collaborate with social media team members to oversee the daily posting, scheduling, and monitoring on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and any new channels that emerge.Work closely with creative, marketing, multimedia, and web teams to craft unified and impactful brand messaging.Evaluate performance through metrics (such as engagement, reach, and conversions) to drive ongoing improvements in content effectiveness.Keep pace with industry trends, platform changes, and best practices to maintain a dynamic and authentic content strategy that resonates with the audience.Played a key role in a comprehensive website redesign, ensuring a robust content plan to enhance user experience.QUALIFICATIONS
Brings 4-5 years of experience in an agency setting or working directly with consumer-facing brands, or a similar background.Has at least 2 years of experience guiding and supporting junior team members.Skilled at generating innovative content ideas that enhance brand creativity while aligning with brand standards.Proficient in planning editorial content across multiple brands and a range of social and digital platforms.Knowledgeable in social media engagement tactics and industry best practices.Familiar with MS Office and WordPress basics.Portfolio samples required for consideration!
