Responsibilities:

Create, maintain and quality control of a large volume of product manuals and other service documents.Work with product engineers or subject-matter experts to develop detailed descriptions of the product features, application, installation, and options.Create publications that deliver key marketing and technical information including sales presentations, user guides, and online help content.Organize and research available data and write technical manuscripts from the data, including procedures and parts lists.Edit and proofread technical documentation for grammar, spelling, and punctuation, considering language variations.Create and update diagrams, illustrations, and charts to support technical content.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional marketing teams, and regional project stakeholders to deliver technical documents and presentations on time.Schedule and conduct review meetings to approve new or revised publications before the final version is released.Assist in the development and revision of style guides that meet the specific needs of Company products.Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.Handle multiple projects effectively.Actively participate in internal and external process improvements.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in technical communication, English, journalism, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation with a a heavy emphasis on developing documentation for HVAC productsMust be able to gather and assess technical documentation to create and update user documentation in compliance with engineering technical input, best practices, and department standards.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills,Ability to translate highly technical concepts into understandable content for the end user.Experience working with Engineers is required.Proficiency in documentation tools and softwareMust be able to work independently and with a multi-cultural team to publish high-quality technical documentation.Proficiency with authoring and desktop publishing tools, specifically MS Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop)
