You'll be at the forefront of representing our brand across Illinois, building relationships with budtenders, and engaging consumers to help us expand awareness of our exciting portfolio of products.
What You'll Do:As our Full-Time Field Marketing Representative, you'll be an essential part of our team, taking charge of brand visibility and forming strong connections within the retail cannabis community. Here's how you'll contribute:Own Your Territory : You'll manage brand appearance and build relationships with budtenders and retailers across your assigned territoryCollaborate & Strategize : Work closely with the sales team in weekly meetings to discuss target accounts and set goals.Product Knowledge Expert : Stay up to date on all things cannabis, host budtender training sessions, and be the go-to resource for product knowledge.Event & Demo Master:
Attend marketing events, in-store demos, and consumer engagement initiatives, lifting and setting up demo tables, store displays, and swag (up to 50 lbs).Be the Brand's Eyes & Ears:
Log consumer insights, feedback, and retail observations into our CRM, ensuring the marketing and sales teams have all the intel they need.Market Research & Merchandising:
Assist with research projects, merchandising needs, and oversee the distribution of swag and other promotional materials.Travel & Flexibility:
Be ready to travel with the Illinois marketMaintain Brand Excellence:
Ensure all your activities follow company policies, from marketing protocols to safety regulations, while projecting a positive and energetic brand image at all times.Voice on Social Media: Document through photos and videos for the purpose of sharing on social across our stores and brands in IL.What You Bring:We're looking for someone with a positive, outgoing personality who can adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Here's what you'll need to succeed:
Experience & Skills:At least 2 years of experience in marketing, promotions, sales, or related fields.Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus, but a passion for cannabis is a must!Strong communication and relationship-building skills to create lasting connections with customers, budtenders, and retail staff.Proficiency in basic computer and phone applications, including email, Slack, and CRM tools.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, including setting up demo tables and displays.Comfortable with an active, on-the-go role that requires visiting multiple retail locations and attending events.
Mindset:You're adaptable, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a busy environment.You love interacting with people and have a creative approach to overcoming challenges.Organized, dependable, and ready to hit the ground running in a fun, fast-paced industry.
