Major Responsibilities

- Under general direction, with broad latitude for the exercise of initiative and judgment, work within NYC Parks' brand guidelines to design print materials, merchandise, citywide advertising campaigns, signage and other collateral for various divisions of the Agency.- Conceptualize and execute new designs as needed.- Ensure consistency of all promotional materials.- Liaise with stakeholders and set up production-ready files.- Assist the marketing team with marketing, brainstorming and advertising strategies.- Execute brand trainings for divisions across the Agency.- Create original art and illustrations.

Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or3. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
