Summary:
Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a responsible a Data Visualization Analyst with web development skills to organize and manage assorted projects with our contract client. This role will work closely with the Program Manager, and you will be tasked with coordinating various tasks and completing administrative duties.
This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
Data Collection and Processing - Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.Statistical Analysis - Apply statistical techniques to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights that support decision-making processes.Predictive Modeling - Develop predictive models using machine learning algorithms to forecast outcomes and optimize business strategies.Dashboard Creation - Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex data insights effectively.Data Storytelling - Translate data findings into actionable insights and present them to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.Visualization Tools - Use tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create and maintain visual data representations.Web Application Development - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications that integrate with data systems.Front-End Development - Implement responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.Back-End Integration - Develop back-end services and APIs to support web application functionality and data access.Maintenance and Optimization - Monitor and optimize the performance of web applications to ensure seamless user experiences.Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Self-motivator, attention to details, and ability to communicate with CDC staff across the agency.Proficiency in with the following: Python, R, or SQL, JSON, D3, Javascript, Tableau, Power BI, HTML, React, Angular, etc.Familiarity with database management systems and cloud platforms.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Public Health Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.Minimum 2+ years' experience in Project Support.Minimum of 2 years of experience in data visualization and analysis, preferably in the health sector.Experience with web development, including front-end and back-end technologies.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with federal government agencies; preferably with CDC.
The salary for this position is $105,000 annually.
