The Opportunity: We are looking to bring onboard a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our defense division. As Product Marketing Manager, you will function as the strategic link between the Product and Marketing teams, driving the success of our defense-focused solutions. For this role, the ideal candidate will be an experienced SaaS marketing professional with knowledge of the defense or maritime industries and a proven ability to develop and execute high-impact marketing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Product Positioning and Messaging:

Develop clear and compelling positioning and messaging for Pole Star’s defense solutions, emphasizing their unique value in the defense sector. Go-to-Market Strategy:

Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing team to design and implement go-to-market strategies for new defense product launches and feature updates. Market Research and Insights:

Lead market research efforts, gathering insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis to shape product development and marketing strategies. Sales Enablement:

Create sales materials such as presentations, case studies, and product collateral to support the sales team in communicating the value of our defense solutions. Campaign Support:

Work closely with marketing leads to provide strategic input and messaging for defense-related marketing campaigns and initiatives. Content Development:

Produce high-quality content including whitepapers, webinars, and blog posts that drive awareness and thought leadership within the defense market. Customer Advocacy:

Foster strong relationships with defense customers to collect feedback, success stories, and testimonials, leveraging them to drive customer advocacy and retention. Performance Tracking and Optimization:

Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success of product marketing efforts and make data-driven adjustments to improve outcomes. Requirements Required Skills: 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the technology, defense industry or public sector. Demonstrated success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for software products. Strong analytical abilities to translate market data into actionable marketing strategies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ability to travel as needed (with prior notice). Experience in Public Sector Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory): Experience defense or maritime technology sectors Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred. Work Arrangement: If you are based near St Pete, Florida (within 1 hour) we have a Hybrid working setup (3 days in office 2 days from home) If you are based further afield or out of state you would be working remotely.
