The Marketing Specialist (Operations) reports to the Manager of Marketing Operations and plays a key role within the Marketing & Communications team. This position supports the team's efficiency and effectiveness by handling a variety of marketing, social media, corporate communications, public relations, digital, and administrative tasks. The role focuses on streamlining processes and ensuring smooth operations within the department.

Position Responsibilities:Onboarding: Support the marketing and communications deliverables for onboarding new sales professionals which include bios, headshots, communications/announcements, and moreAsset Management: Maintain and manage the photo library (headshots) and marketing collateral library to ensure accessibility and organization including scheduling and coordination of photo shoots for new employeesBranded Merchandise: Coordinate apparel and branded merchandise for special events and other needsPowerPoint Support: In partnership with team members and/or business partners create and update PowerPoint presentations for various audiences, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality visualsReporting: Assist with weekly and annual department reporting and support the annual strategic planning processInbox Management: Triage and respond to inquiries from the department email boxReport Preparation: Prepare ad-hoc reports, as requested, to support department initiativesMeeting and Event Support: In partnership with the Meeting & Events team, provide logistical support that enhances the attendee experience such as welcome packages, branded merchandise coordination, and overall process managementDocumentation: Playbook department processes and procedures to support consistent operations and knowledge sharingDigital & Social Media Support: Assist with social media campaign execution and coordination of content for Northmarq.comFinancial Support: Oversee department invoicing processes and financial reportingE-mail Marketing: Leverage templates and coordinate the creation of routine content for distribution by email marketing campaignsTeam Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate team training, meetings, and events for our departmentProject Coordination: Manage or support various projects as needed, ensuring timelines and goals are metGeneral Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including meeting logistics, catering, and other support as assignedWhat We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree required. Will consider commensurate professional experience in lieu of education3+ years' experience performing professional project management, ideally in a marketing or communications/PR departmentProven experience in a marketing, communications, or social media coordinator role, or similarStrong organizational skills including the ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder requestsStrong interpersonal skills, able to collaborate and engage with people at all levels of the companyHigh attention to detailFlexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environmentStrong ability to problem-solve and manage multiple efforts simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGeneral knowledge of traditional marketing and communications areas of expertise, such as media/PR, events and tradeshows, print production, websites, intranet, email marketing, and graphic layout/designKnowledge of email platforms and website content management systems is preferred.Strong experience in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft programs - Asana experience a plus
