Marketing and Outreach Specialist (Part-Time)

This is a year-round, part-time position that will work up to 25 hours/week, which will include some weekends and/or evenings.
EXAMPLES OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED:
Create and update flyers, posters, web content, social media content, videos, presentations, and written articles for the parks and recreation department.Capture photos and videos of department programs, events and daily operations to be used in department marketing and communications.Assist with administrative tasks including but are not limited to: filing, records management, answering phone calls and emails, proofreading, supply inventory management and distribution, and printing/copies.Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and initiatives.Assist with planning and execution of all department events and outreach efforts, including working promotional booths at community events to represent the department and help promote its programs, events and services.Perform all other related duties as assigned.Other duties as required.OTHER DUTIES:
