We are seeking an energetic, sales centric
Assistant
Community Manager
to join our team in Glenmont. Glenmont Abbey Village is an upscale community for active adults ages 55+ where designing and fostering an exceptional lifestyle experience for our residents is at the center of everything we do. Our proprietary lifestyle program, the LIFE, is the framework for our environment of growth, creativity, fun, friendship, and independence. Our beautiful, modern apartments, coupled with premier amenities and the LIFE program, offer residents so much more than the status quo. We build our teams with talented, motivated people who have a passion for service and the drive to create an outstanding living environment for our residents.The Assistant Community Manager primary function is to lease available apartments. Additionally, the Assistant Community Manager will support the Community Manager in maintaining strong relationships with all residents,
clients, the community, suppliers, and vendors. The Assistant Community Manager will also be expected to support of activities programs and also support the receptionist position as the first point of contact for people visiting the property.RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities that are listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the type of responsibilities normally performed by the Assistant Community Manager:MARKETING AND LEASINGTours visitors of the communityShows apartments to interested guestsEncourages interested guests to apply for residencyLeases apartments to qualified applicantsAssists applicant with application processCloses sale of apartmentsAssists in preparation of advertising and marketing materialsAssists in preparation of regular market surveysPrepares weekly and monthly reportsMakes recommendations to improve marketing and leasing programsKeeps units leased to meet or exceed budgetADMINISTRATIONAssists in the input of all data into computer systemAssists in preparation of all necessary packages for lease up move-insCreates letters/newsletters and/or flyer'sAbility to handle any emergencies that may arise on siteAssists with Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Aged Receivables, etc.Communicates all problems and makes recommendations to the Property ManagerQUALIFICATIONSSuperior sales/leasing skills with demonstrated successBachelor’s degree or related experience in Operations and Sales/Marketing preferredStrong organizational, management, and teamwork skillsSolid administrative skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office products, i.e. Excel, Outlook,
Word, PowerPoint, PublisherAbility to handle finances and work within a budget; attention to detailsProfessional image compatible with United Group - positive attitude, energetic, assertive,
and ability to serve as a role model for subordinatesDemonstrates integrity on personal and professional levelAbility to solve problems involving residents, personnel, emergency situations, etcAbility and willingness to substitute for any position at the siteSCOPE + COMPENSATIONMinimum forty hours per week; additional hours including nights and weekends as required
Regular schedule to be consistent with established hours of operationHourly base (based on experience) + monthly and quarterly commissionsGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans401k plan with employer match
