ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Configure AV solutions documented in SOW
  • Network UC proficiency
  • Commercial AV Control Systems
  • Digital Signal Processing Symptoms
  • Commission and final testing
  • Final documentation

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Ensure proper installation of integrated systems and quality control of AV infrastructure, testing, and final calibrations.
  • Perform client trainings to demonstrate new system operations.
  • Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize AV systems, including final testing and turnover of integrated systems to clients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
  • Attend a variety of internal meetings and customer meetings as required.
  • Promote quality improvement to enhance the services provided to clients.
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and industry software.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with client list and information.
  • Ability to travel nationally - 40%.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • 3 + years as AV Technician or Service Technician, or equivalent experience in AV industry.
  • CTS Certification preferred.
  • Audio DSP programming experience.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting conferencing systems.
  • Familiarity with some or all the following: Crestron, Poly and Cisco, Biamp, QSC.
  • Experience working with AV over IP.
  • Ability to train clients on system function.
  • Experience with video switching systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of installation of products such as ceiling/wall mounted speakers, displays, cameras, cabling infrastructure, AV racks, wall plates, and interfaces (audio, video, control, and networking).
  • Knowledge of terminations, including but not limited to: audio, video, control, and network connectors.
  • Ability to understand schematics and utilize diagnostics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
  • Physical ability to lift 50lbs, squat, kneel and climb ladders from 8-12 ft.
  • Comfortability working in ceilings and tight spaces.
