Job Title: Content Writer
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $ 44 - 48 / hour
Contract Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and proofread help content that is clear, concise, and aligns with voice and writing standards.
  • Manage multiple projects, including the publishing, editing, and maintenance of content on the Help Center and Policy site.
  • Conduct content audits, publish using the content management tool, troubleshoot publishing issues, and resolve them as needed.
  • Stay informed on product and policy updates, and effectively communicate these changes following the brand, writing, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Adhere to formatting, publishing, and translation best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is reviewed, approved, published promptly, and translated for a global audience.

Required Skills:

  • Experience creating and maintaining content for a help center or knowledge base.
  • Technical writing expertise, particularly in policy, compliance, privacy, regulatory standards, or trust and safety.
  • Ability to translate complex product or technical information into user-friendly help articles.
  • Proven experience collaborating with various internal or external partners (e.g., support, policy, project management, engineering, localization) to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify, prioritize, and resolve issues independently.
  • High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and integrity.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to see how individual updates and topics fit within the broader context of safety, support, and brand tone.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn with the capacity to grasp complex technical concepts.
