This role will be key to developing a robust content engine that fuels organic growth, social engagement, and user retention.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Production: Plan, capture, and edit content, focusing on video assets. Content should be optimized for VR and mobile experiences, working closely with both the marketing and product teams.Collaborative Development: Partner with product and marketing teams to produce dynamic in-product video content and social media clips. Content should be engaging, relevant, and designed to enhance user experiences across all platforms.Cross-Platform Adaptation: Design assets for various formats, including VR, mobile app, social media, and blog posts, ensuring versatility across channels.Content Strategy & Execution: Maintain a high volume of quality content output, constantly evolving ideas and approaches. Meet bi-weekly or monthly with leadership to pitch new content concepts, optimizing resources and budget.Talent Relations: Professionally manage relationships with agents, managers, and trainers, while coordinating production involving talent or influencers.Self-Sufficiency & Efficiency: Work independently with minimal reliance on external teams, capable of capturing, editing, and launching content in a rapid cycle for real-time user engagement.Qualifications Experience: 3-5 years in content creation, ideally with a social media focus, in a dynamic environment.Technical Skills: Proficient in video editing and filming, with a portfolio demonstrating versatility in content styles and platforms.Social Media Knowledge: A "social native" with a strong grasp of engaging TikTok-style content, balancing brand polish with platform-appropriate authenticity.Creative Problem-Solving: Able to pivot quickly, using creativity to produce high-impact content efficiently.Domain Expertise: knowledge of sports marketing and sports personas.Communication Skills: Able to work cross-functionally, maintain relationships with stakeholders, and communicate content strategies clearly and effectively.Customer Empathy: Deeply understand the needs and wants of baseball/softball parents, coaches, and players - focusing each content piece on the unique needs of its primary persona.Sports have a rich heritage of transcending traditional boundaries in pursuit of winning.
